Getting Stuff Done on Time Response

What do you think of when you hear the words “Spring Break”? I think of relaxation and a worry free week, or hanging out with friends and taking time to enjoy ourselves. I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy themselves on spring break, whether you’re a teacher or student. Many students think they can do the work last minute because it’s easy, but when the break ends they end up forgetting. Other students just won’t take the time to do it because it’s our break and we don’t like to think about school cause then it’ll stress us out.  Then there’s students who already have plans with families for spring break, they either go on vacation or are simply never home. How can they do the assignment when they’re never home? I don’t agree with homework being given to students over a break because lots of students already have plans in advance, and they never have time for homework and when they don’t do it then the teachers get mad. When people actually have nothing to do then they should do homework, but as I said earlier they probably won’t because they’ll most likely think that they have plenty of time to get it done; then, it becomes too late. The reasons for work not being done on spring break varies but I think we can all concur that we would like time to relax and get rid of the stress from school. We should all be able to have time to rest our minds in order to come back to school fully rejuvenated; to end the year on a good note.

Blog "Property Rights"

When an item is bought the purchaser owns the item. I believe that when you buy something it belongs to you because you payed the money out of your pocket to own it, even if there are certain extents to the types of things that you can do with these objects. Just because you buy the item does not mean you can do anything you want with it. Everything has its certain laws and limitations that you can mess with. Some examples of this are: phones, internet and credit cards. I think these are all great examples that can be explained. When you buy a phone, the phone itself is yours, but the company decides how you can use it, and what types of services are available. Also, when you pay for internet it’s considered “your” internet because you payed for it. You are allowed to lock it and use it however you please, but once you start taking things to far then you can get banned or in trouble for the things you do. Lastly, when you receive a credit card it’s considered yours because it has all your information on it. You can do whatever you please with it but it all depends on the money available on the card. So technically you can’t do anything even if you do own it. This is why I believe no matter what as long as you pay for something then it belongs to you.

Semester 1 did not go the way I anticipated. I thought it would be a breeze but I was wrong. It was much more difficult and I fell behind because I slacked off on most of the assignments. Now that I know how difficult semster 2 can be I have made it a goal to improve my grades and my academic performance. I will become a better student by showing up to class on time and trying not to miss school as much. By arriving to class on time I will be able to have a better understanding of the lesson; therefore, the assignments will not be as difficult to understand and I can complete them on time.
